Here are just a few of the highlights…

Strategic rebrand for investment-propelled healthtech firm IMMJ Systems

Electronic document management system (EDMS) provider for the NHS, Mizaic — previously IMMJ Systems — has shaken a number of healthcare headlines recently, after undergoing a monumental rebrand project which not only presented a new identity and proposition for the firm, but an opportunity to really boost the efforts of the healthtech ecosystem too.

Armed with £1.8m investment from strategic investor Foresight and existing shareholders, as well as a newly-formed senior leadership team, the company is set to double its size over the next three years.

Reid Brewin Architects announces completion of ground-breaking sustainability project

Global data centre and colocation provider, Equinix, has unveiled a first-of-its-kind rooftop urban farm atop its data centre in Paris, France. The development — designed by leading high-tech architectural company Reid Brewin Architects — comprises a 430m2 greenhouse surrounded by a further 570m2 of green space. The rooftop structures are powered using a heat recovery solution, with heat exchangers linked to the data centre’s water cooling system.

The farm does not only feed into an ongoing sustainability strategy for Equinix, but it also demonstrates how technology can be used to promote more responsible practices and agriculture in urban areas.

Tidy Planet Rocket Composter saves The Torridon £17,000 in off-site costs

Helping organisations switch the narrative from ‘waste’ to ‘resource’, Tidy Planet has been the go-to provider of food waste management solutions within the hospitality sector and beyond for more than 20 years. Luxury boutique hotel, The Torridon, is one of the firm’s latest clients to reap the benefits of the Rocket Composter — recycling approximately 50 tonnes of food waste in just two years.

As well as saving the site costs by reducing off-site waste disposal fees and eliminating the need to outsource compost, Tidy Planet continues to support The Torridon’s growing ESG commitments — with the organisation’s environmental efforts having been recognised by a number of industry bodies including Carbon Trust and Now Sustainability.
