You may have seen a flurry of excitement on the Scriba girls’ social media posts in recent weeks, as this Wednesday will see us travelling down to London for an extremely exciting event!
Back in November, our very own founder and PR specialist Katie Mallinson was bowled over when she scooped one of the PR industry’s most prestigious accolades – the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Outstanding Young Communicator at the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire PRide Awards.
Held at Aspire in Leeds, the glitzy black-tie ceremony was a wonderful evening for Katie and the Scriba team. But now, Katie has been shortlisted in the same category for the CIPR Excellence Awards, which have searched high and low to crown the industry’s national champions.
The awards ceremony comes at a fitting time, in the week that we celebrate 3 busy years since the birth of Scriba. So what better way to mark this occasion than at this prestigious event?
Katie was overwhelmed to be shortlisted for this PR ‘Oscar’ and anticipation in the office is growing. There’s barely time to dust off our black tie outfits before we head down to the capital to learn our fate!
Held at Old Billingsgate in London, the awards recognise exceptional campaigns run by PR and communications experts around the country. After receiving more than 600 entries and conducting almost 170 panel interviews, Katie is elated at being a part of the top 5 in her category.
Nails are painted, dresses are purchased and win or not, this event will be one to remember – of that we are sure!
