Word o’ Week

Symphysis

Noun: The process of growing together.

Here at Scriba towers, we’re all growing together at all times.

Verbose

Adjective: Using more words than are needed

We’ve all experienced moments when less is more – we don’t want to have a ‘verbose’ moment.

Sirimiri

Noun: A very light rain.

A cosy position and a warm brew is what we recommend when watching a ‘sirimiri’ from the window.

Anachronism

Noun: A thing belonging or appropriate to a period other than that in which it exists.

An example of an “anachronism” would be putting a watch on a Pharaoh in a Egyptian film.
