Tiger partners with Oak Innovation to broaden UC&C service offering
Tiger will offer its customers the Oak Innovation ClarifyGo recording product, which focuses on compliance, dispute resolution, sales and customer service. In tandem, Oak Innovation will offer Tiger Prism to its customer base, allowing clients to make business decisions with its UC data.
While Tiger and Oak Innovation have traditionally been recognised as friendly competitors, the partnership spells a new chapter for both brands. Ben Nicklen, CEO at Tiger, said: “ We continually discuss driving product development and creating our own intellectual property. However, often our customers ask us about call recording and contact centre software. Rather than reinvent the wheel, we know this is a specialist area for Oak Innovation, so it was the next logical step.”
The partnership will offer synergies for both Tiger and Oak Innovation’s customers, looking at the compliance and decision-making benefits of combined call recording and analytics. It will also open up new markets for both brands.
Oak Innovation works with a broad range of organisations, with a particular focus on finance, local authorities and government agencies, across the UK and the United States. Tiger works with medium to large enterprises. The company looks forward to exploring Oak Innovation’s influence in the North American market, while also furthering future partnerships in Europe and South Africa.
Both companies have long-standing partnerships with traditional telephony and cloud-based communications providers such as Cisco, Microsoft and Zoom. Oak Innovation has also achieved a ‘Certified’ status with Microsoft for ClarifyGo.
Talks began in May 2023 as both brands sought to offer more to their customers. Initially, Oak Innovation CEO William Emm approached Tiger to discuss its analytics products, but it soon became clear that the businesses could open a wider opportunity by partnering both ways.
The partnership will allow clients in a range of industries to record calls compliantly, improving their customer service and adhering to privacy regulations. At the same time, they will benefit from tracking key call data including licences, device usage and call times. This value-added service will allow both brands to operate independently, but equally collaborate to deliver the best customer experience possible.
It is the beginning of big plans for both companies. With this new collaboration, Tiger and Oak Innovation are seeking to add £1 million ARR in the first 12 months. The news initially broke on Thursday 6th of July, when Tiger announced the partnership to clients during its annual Tiger Connect event.
In the future, both brands look forward to capitalising on these synergies and exploring new developments. Tiger CEO Ben Nicklen added: "After over 20 years of our organisations admiring each other from a friendly distance, I am so excited about the opportunity to partner and collaborate with Oak Innovation. Bringing together two of the best-known brands in the UC ecosystem will enable our customers to benefit from excellent products, services and continue to drive business value in UC analytics and compliance recording technology. Watch this space!"
Oak Innovation CEO William Emm said: "We're delighted to be partnering with Tiger to deliver a complete call management solution to Teams resellers and their customers. Prism is a fantastic product, sitting perfectly alongside ClarifyGo to help organisations better understand call activity, support compliance and improve performance."
