But what does this mean for us word nerds?
The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce offers a range of benefits, including webinars and events, workshops, networking opportunities, and general business support. It’s a great way to get connected, supported — and most importantly – represented.
A longstanding organisation and part of the wider British Chambers of Commerce remit, it listens to businesses on a local and regional level and promotes their best interests to central government. Something that the last year has certainly highlighted as being vital!
Yorkshire Businesswoman meanwhile is an online magazine and membership organisation that launched only last year. A sister publication to our friends at TopicUK, our participation affords us access to a range of events and media opportunities, as well as meeting with and supporting other women in the region.
We feel it’s so important to engage with other inspirational females in the business community. and to make sure that our voice is heard, too. Hopefully you’ll be seeing lots of insight from us in the coming months.
Louise Jaggar, Scriba’s operations manager, said: “The members that make up both organisations are businesses and individuals that we’d be proud to be associated with.
“We’re big on supporting our local and regional business community and as such, joining both the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Yorkshire Businesswoman will further underline this commitment.
“In addition, the entire Scriba team will certainly benefit from everything they have to offer!”
We can’t wait to get stuck in and start making the most of our enrolment in both groups.
