We’re delighted to announce that Scriba and our fantastic client Mustard & Punch Group have both been shortlisted for a Huddersfield Examiner Award!
Emily Irvine – general manager of the Honley-based restaurant chain – is up for the ‘Ambassador of the Year’ gong.
Designed to celebrate employees who go above and beyond their day-to-day role and strive to make a difference, she has been recognised for her truly selfless attitude, consistent assistance for employees and being the lifeblood of the organisation.
In addition, Emily has been a revelation for the owners, Wayne Roddis and Richard Dunn, offering support and expertise like a business partner.
Next up is Scriba – our team has been selected for the ‘Creative Impact Award’. This category acknowledges the creative services provided by businesses from fields such as advertising, design, architecture, film and photography. I know what you’re thinking, this mentions nothing about PR, but we believe our words paint a thousand ‘images’ – and what’s more creative than that?
We pride ourselves in celebrating the skills and successes of companies large and small, globally and locally, that manufacture or supply niche services and products that make a real difference to the economy. This has been our business focus from day one – created by our ‘word nerd’ founder, Katie Mallinson.
Scriba has been selected for demonstrating the positive impact our service has had on improving our client, shredding-specialist UNTHA UK’s, organisation. We’ve worked side by side with UNTHA for the past six years, and over this time we have helped unlock the brand’s key to global success.
From gracing BBC Breakfast’s red sofa to securing industry speaking slots and reaching millions of people through online and print coverage, it’s been an incredible journey!
We’re looking forward to the ceremony on 7th November at The John Smith’s Stadium! Fingers crossed we have two winners on the evening – watch this space!
